My life revolves around work and family, my dogs and the project of the hour. I've always loved finding new ways to use old things, but have never been very good at figuring out just how until recently. I enjoy writing, though I have yet to discover how to use it to my advantage. So I mostly keep it to myself. My other passion is photography. I love taking pictures of anything and everything, especially if it's covered in fur.
I come from a long line of pack rats. I have always been sentimental about things that are given to me by special people in my life, but as I grow and change, most things no longer fit into our home and where some would toss it, I find I'm much happier if I can turn it into something 'new' or give it to somebody else who will cherish it.
I turned 31 this year. My youthful excuses for the eclectic, senseless theme and décor no longer hold up. We've spent the past decade fostering untrained dogs and while it's been the most rewarding, fulfilling adventure to be a part of saving all those lives, it's wreaked havoc on our 125 year old home! It's time to begin our family and plan for the future, so with that, I invite you to follow us as we slowly make improvements to our century old house on a very small budget.
